William R Russell (Called Robert W in 1870 census), is the father of William H. Mary James is the mother.
Later census shows William R was born in Tennessee.
William H Russell (born Feb. 26,1859, died on April 6, 1906 in St. Louis, father of John Russell-my grandfather)
Lived in St. Ferdinand in 1860 and shows he was a farmer.
William H. lived on 4137 Penrose when he died.
John and Laura lived in the same building as the Hongsermeyers at 2114 Blair in 1920
1900 Census shows John is 11. Living at 4118 N. 11th St.
