Who is Bill Brown?

ü1948 - Born and raised in St. Louis, MO.
ü1966-1970: Enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Worked on repairing radar navigation systems on fighters and bombers during the Vietnam war.
ü1970-1976: Worked as a field service engineer for Honeywell Information Systems and Raytheon Data Systems repairing computer systems ranging from mini-computers all the way up to million-dollar computer systems.
ü1976-1988: In 1976 (on a dare and a $10,000 loan) I started a computer maintenance business based in St. Louis, focusing on buying, selling and repairing Honeywell computers. At my peak, I had more than 30 systems under contract in 12 states generating $40-$50,000 a month in revenue. New technology eventually made these systems obsolete.
ü1988-1992: In 1988 I moved to Las Vegas, where I worked in media-related areas (utilizing my computer background), including magazine publishing and radio. I wrote gaming columns for several gambling magazines and wrote a book computer analyzing the game of blackjack (190,000,000 Hands of Blackjack).
ü1992-1997: Production supervisor for SportsFan Radio Network, one of the first all-sports national radio networks in the country. Some of our on-air talent included Pete Rose, Sean Salisbury, Tim Ryan and Bob Golic.
ü1998-2013: Retired in 2013 after 14+ years as a data analyst for the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM), Dept. of Surgery. My title the last five years was Project Director for the Center for Traffic Safety Research.
ü2015: My wife (retired from UNSOM after 16+ years) and I moved to Lake Ozark, MO to be closer to family and friends.
